22-12-2020 // JUST WAIT AND SEE

Update Amanda, TrainMore UPDATE Yesterday we delivered the flyers to all stakeholders in the Emmasingelkwadrant.  We are very curious about the responses we will receive. Before we enter into conversations with new stakeholders, it is important to inform the stakeholders that we have already spoken to about our process. The stakeholders in the Emmasingelkwadrant indicated that the moment they provide input, they receive little or no feedback. This gives them the impression that they are not being heard and that little is done with their ideas and input. That is why we think it is important to update them about our process. We want to involve them and show them that they are being listened to. In this way, we try to create a kind of bond with the stakeholders and give them the idea that they can actually contribute something to improving the livability in the Emmasingelkwadrant. Before we sent the update, we had it checked by Maurice so that we did not 'pass' our client. The upd...

13-12-2020 // FLYER

Image
Last Tuesday, 08-12-20, we had a meeting with Sandra, Rolf, and Eric. In addition to discussing the meeting that has yet to be planned with the project developers and a possible sign that can be placed in the Emmasingelkwadrant, we mostly discussed the content of our flyer. They were actually very enthusiastic about our way of working; we took into account all the feedback that was given, we reflected on the feedback, and explained why we made certain choices. Eventually, we chose our own direction and they appreciated our proactive attitude in that. Maurice, our ‘new’ supervisor, was wondering how we experienced all the different feedback we got. We have received a lot of different feedback. We read everything, filtered everything, and ultimately opted for the content that we supported. Maurice was pleasantly surprised that we responded so well to the ‘municipal way of doing things'. We got the feeling it was some sort of 'test'; how should we react to all these different ...

10-12-2020 // REFLECTION NOVEMBER – (BEGINNING OF) DECEMBER

Image
This is our second extensive reflection on the process. We try to reflect on every blog, but in this reflection we each reflect for ourselves how we experience the process of our project. In this reflection, we will mostly reflect on the past month, but also on the feedback from our feedback buddies. FEEDBACK BUDDY LYNN Lynn is our feedback buddy since the start of our project. We tried to work on the feedback she has given us last time. This time she also gave us feedback:  Blog 24-11-2020: Quite an interesting blog, I am also very curious about the actual Kumu map, I understand from your blog that it can still change but perhaps it is a good idea to still add a screenshot or link of what it looks like now. creates a better overview than the excel sheet.  Blog 26-11-2020: A lot of information about the conversations you had. The conclusion makes it very clear which is very good and important in order to understand!  Blog 01-12-2020: Nice that you include the program of t...

08-12-2020 // SECOND CHALLENGE THE CHALLENGE

Image
The last few days we have been working on our second challenge the challenge. This piece can also be found under the label 'proposal & challenge'. Now we spoke with stakeholders from the Emmasingelkwadrant, we looked again at the challenge from different perspectives and searched for the question behind the question. We will answer the questions below, the same questions we answered in the first challenge the challenge. We will answer these questions based on the knowledge we have gained in the last month. The answers to the questions below will therefore be mostly based on the information we have gathered so far through the conversations we had with the stakeholders from the Emmasingelkwadrant. We want to clearly map where we are at this point in the process. In the first month, we completed our first diverging phase, the discovery phase, by means of the conversations we had with the ones involved from the municipality in the Emmasingelkwadrant. We defined the knowledge we...
