CD LAB Meeting with Monique ED LAB with Mike CD LAB We spoke to several people from the municipality of Eindhoven. We have discussed and reflected on their perspectives, thoughts, and opinions in detail in "31-10-2020 // REFLECTION OCTOBER" and in the blog "05-11-2020 // CHALLENGE THE CHALLENGE". So we will now dive deeper into the second phase of the Double Diamond Model, the definition phase. We will define the information we have gained in the discovery phase. The definition stage in the Double Diamond model consists of filtering through all the information you got from stage one and elabora...

He explains that the population in the Netherlands will grow by about 1 million people until the year 2040, meaning that the cities will grow by at least one percent. Therefore, Karakus says we should not let the momentum determine what we will build in the city but make a qualitative good housing supply that is aimed at the future.   In order to create a livable city of the future, he provides the following advice:   -   Do not just look at housing but think about the diversity of supplies. Think about how people need public space for meeting one another. -   Diversity in housing and inhabitants. Polarization is support...
